These are the voyages of the BUSTA dev team..
Their continuing mission: to build exciting new games, to boldly build what no BSC dev team has built before!!

What is BUSTA?
You may have heard the whispers about our project “BUSTA”. BUSTA is a web3 progressive jackpot game / DApp, where users can place a bet then try to exit before the game crashes. It is the first in our line of games for Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
Thanks to crazy ETH gas fees, a lot of the action is clearly taking place on Binance Smart Chain. With the speed and affordability of BSC, it was an obvious place for our games to exist.
We have been planning / developing BUSTA for months and are making some solid progress! As all the design work comes to life over the next few weeks, the project’s epic attributes will become more visual.

Our super talented design team has been making excellent progress with the new BUSTA website.
The launch pad, errrm.. I mean the landing page is now live as a sneak peak, which also includes the following links to our newly created social platforms (listed at end of blog).

Finalizing the LOLonomics:
Wait, WTF are LOLonomics?
Well, first they were talking about Token Economics, then they called it Tokenomics, these days things have gotten to the point where we look at the Tokenomics of a project and have to LOL at the ridiculousness of some of them. All that LOLing and the research we’ve done on all the possible Tokenomics we wanted to implement lead us to realise that the true name for what we’re doing shall henceforth be known as “LOLonomics” — something you’ll see talked about a lot throughout future updates.
As for where we’re at right now, we’ve almost finalized how the BUSTA ecosystem will function in regards to the game itself, the farming and trading of BUST, and all the other features built in and around the core platform. We can confidently say that the final version of our intertwined LOLonomics are looking pretty damn amazing if we may say so ourselves, and we can’t wait to share them with you all once they’ve passed all final simulations and tests.
Dev notes and proof of concept:
As you’ll see in the dev notes below, there’s still a lot to do (only impulse power has been restored to warp engines after random Banalien attack) and although we’re still some time away from the MVP, we do have a sneak peak of what the game currently looks like — keep in mind that this may change considerably as development progresses:
So time to put our serious space helmets on! Here are all the dev notes from April until now..
# Sprint 1 (Early April)
Goal: Create something that you can point to and say, “Yup, that’s a crash game 😎”
Stand up Game Engine, PlayerOps, Frontend, and Game Event Log domains. Game Engine runs continually, every round crashes at hard-coded multiplier (for now), next round starts automatically after the previous one crashes. PlayerOps exposes websocket interface, clients can place bets, subscribe to account events (bet accepted) and subscribe to game round events (taking bets, round started, tick, crash). Game events are stored in a database, laying the groundwork to make every game fully auditable.
# Sprint 2 (Late April)
Goal: Make the game actually interesting to play 🎰
The frontend design is starting to take shape! Game engine now generates crash multipliers deterministically based on seed and salt values *apes look at each other and shrug*. Multiplier increases exponentially instead of linearly, to make the game more fun to play and watch. Initial iteration of game audit reports, so that players can review exactly what happened during a past game round and verify that the outcome was correct and fair. Laid the groundwork for exiting a round, so that players can actually play the game (we didn’t quite get to the frontend interface for this in Sprint 2, but “Scotty Ape” has the backend in place ready to integrate). “Scotty Ape” has also tightened up some of the engine room to improve the stability and performance of the game
# Sprint 3 (Early May)
Goal: Make the game playable with new design, and start work on social features
We wanted to implement controls for placing a bet and exiting the round working on the frontend. Add the Leaderboard, so that players can compare their performance and compete. Lay groundwork for keeping track of player funds. Finalise additional designs for the frontend, especially Leaderboard and game audit reports.
